The device itself is really great. Very clean processing, the materials are very valuable and it has almost a sophisticated touch to the metal (!) Instead of plastic. So seen from the side 5 points.
The sound then has disappointed me. On the one hand is not really loud but clear .... not really to be expected for 2x2.5 Watt. What really bothers me massively the very dull and swirling sound is ..... no clear highs, the unit focuses on the frequencies above the fundamental bass and below the missing of my heights. The bass is not bad, I think more can you expect for the price and the size hardly. But is all about wafts so to himself and made me not convinced and was not to listen to my mind.
I then compare the device to the speakers of my son whom I have given him for Christmas two years ago. Granted, the Sony comes "fuller", therefore voluminous, but (!) The highs and mids are so much better with the device of my son which cost then 19.95.
I've done what I've done only once (at about little shoes). I packed up and sent back to the device again. I'm going first to the nearest MMarkt and hear other equipment to me. Maybe I better price technically spend to get "heights" more money ....
