Sound different than the Bose Companion, but not worse

I just want to express my times subjective opinion shortly. Finally I got the reviews here all studied before I bought the speakers. I had been the Bose Companion and was quite happy with that, but wanted to try something new. The Edifier I had been a while in the eye and then slammed spontaneously, as it gave more favorable for a couple of hours by 20% at a time here.

I think the Edifier sound definitely different as the Bose Companion. But by no means bad. Just different. I am not so versed audiophil a view to finding the right terminology: But you can see the difference immediately. While the Bose Companion rather give an impressive surround sound from itself, the music goes with these Edifier somehow better ear. It sounds kind: direct. So I would want to express that perhaps as a layman.
