I have a low-priced speaker system sought to occasionally play a listen or even some music on the laptop. To "correct" listening to music I use otherwise a reasonable investment with ordinary stereo speakers. After a little Gestöbere I then decided to use this model here. To outdo the internal laptop speakers should be no problem even for products from the lower price segment. But after connecting, even before I could play something on the system, the big surprise: BRUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. The volume control was completely turned to their lowest, and not yet connected the system to my laptop. In fact, it also made no difference whether and what I connect the system. The hum is there permanently. Loud enough to hear it even from 2-3 meters away yet. If you turn up a little louder when listening to music, it is no longer out of listening, but in pieces with soft passages or pauses it makes itself immediately noticeable. For me, it is not possible to permanently turned to leave the system on a laptop. After each playing song I get immediately the crisis. I do not know if I caught only a Monday model here. It could depend also on the power grid of the house, where I have such or similar problems with no other devices.
From the sound forth the system is its 16 Euro fair if one can judge so. The bass is how the general knows of satellite subwoofer systems, a bit dull and partly too loud for my taste. Mids and highs are fine. If the hum would not, I would here without feeling guilty awarded 4 stars, precisely because of the low price.
