I have the Bose IE2 audio now for about 18 months in use. I use as a source an iPod Touch 4G. The included case turned out to be very practical because an iPod Touch 4th Generation precisely fit in and still look for the headphones comfortably. The case holds up really well and looks after 18 months of daily use still almost like new. For the quality of the headphones. The Bose IE2 Audi used several hours of my day. The wearing comfort is extremely good. You can feel it after a short time little more. Also in sports activities is a fall never happened and by the supplied clip, the cable securely to clothing are fastenings, and are thus protected against excessive tensile forces. The sound quality is more than ok. I hear much of electronic music and am very pleased with the reproduction of bass and treble. The sound can be described as very pleasant. It hurt a not after 15 minutes the ears due to excessive emphasis on bass and high frequency tones as is the case with some other products.
What to unfortunately be desired is the life of the cable. Without the influence of tensile forces, the cable began to crumble shortly before the right handset for about 17 months and the underlying wires appeared. With headphones in this price range you can expect in my opinion a slightly higher quality. Therefore only 3 stars.
