Yesterday I got my Turtle Beach HS by mail. The headset is not so good from the processing. The earcups wiggle on the bracket, the wheel from Kontrolpannel is much too sensitive. The worst thing is that it is very uncomfortable. I had previously a headset from Roccat (for the PC) which although weighed 800 grams more, however, was worlds more comfortable to wear! The bow of the Turtle Beach is just too narrow and the Thin padded strips pressed after a few minutes on the head. The foam buffers are very firm and not comfortable for either ear to wear therefore safe. For 20 - 30 EUR I would find the headset very good. But just because most other headsets are grossly overpriced does not mean that the EUR 50 for this headset are justified!
The sound is really good, however, when listening to music etc. Only the language in Voice Chat comes with a lot of highs, but very clearly over. Another disadvantage of the microphone is the poor shielding of ambient noise. Have the HS in the audio option (where you can hear yourself) tested and the headset transmits unfortunately every conceivable background noise ...
For small claims the headset is fine'd next time but would rather lie down twice and buy a comfortable wireless headset.
Conclusion 3 stars for the sound -. for that lack the bass that's really being generous!
