For seat: I initially thought the MDR-10 is a a circumaural earpiece as the DT and the MDR-1. But that is not so. The earcups sit very comfortably on the ear cups and dense fact from the outside world. Nothing crunches or interfere. But it is warm under the eavesdroppers ..... well, winter is coming soon :-)
The build quality is impeccable as usual by SONY, well thought out the design. The accessory is practical.
Now for the sound: as a driver is a headphone tube amplifier and is lined with various materials of pop and jazz.
The Beyer Dynamic makes the beginning: as usual round, open upwards, voted bright he is because of excellent, poor coloration voice reproduction and abysmal, slim bass. His class is clearly defined. The Bluetooth receiver MDR-1 has more problems here: thick bass, mild, slightly overcast mids and quite discoloration let the voice detect a clear difference. OK is also difficult in this system, who knows what the Bluetooth transmission "swallows". Nevertheless, I have the phone very much, he is very lively and crisp.
Good old Porta Pro has many years done his service, for 30 euros there is hardly anything better: good bass, excellent voice reproduction but rather impose it comes along. But as I said, it was my all-round handset - until yesterday .....
The MDR-10 puts a smile on your face: super-tangy, crisp but not too voluminous bass and produces outstanding stereo sound with an enormous spatial depth. It's really what's going on under the earpieces. Make great fun the handset. an example: Pink Floyd's "Money" sounds in the Remaster Version unprecedented lively and fresh that you realize 40 years since hardly :-)
In addition, highly dynamic: the sound driver never act even at a slightly increased volume annoying or troublesome .... it sounds ......- just fine, otherwise I can not describe it.
I think that listeners are my new favorite Lauscher: simple to set up and well protected they are doing your job flawlessly - strong buy recommendation!
If "The Script" have actually been involved in the Sound tuning: well done, guys ........ ;-)

I have this good piece now less than two months and I have to say, my enthusiasm knows no bounds! Rarely have I had a more musical listener obsessed like this! Even my reference Beyerdynamik DT770 does not so much humor. He acts compared to "quitschbunten" musical behavior of Sony eavesdropper somehow stiff, very analytical and around - but stiff. I pull against the MDR 10 on, I have a feeling I visit a party - in a good mood. This is new music experience - every day! Whether a live concert on television, on Spotify or CD.

I puzzle it all the time, which so fascinated me and I think I now know: I grew up in the eighties, so a child of classical loudness button (for those who do not know: it was in previous amplifying a button where the ups and downs have been adapted for disabled ear for listening in low volumes) and somehow the whole sound characteristic reminds me hard at this time.
My father had a very hi-fi system by Telefunken with fridge-sized boxes. Certainly not a "high-end" or "X-Bass" etc. But this combination was a guarantee of good mood. And the SONY Lauscher remember especially in older pieces (Tony Joe White, Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, etc.) to this system ...... yes, I think that's the answer .... :-)
I have not ordered yet another handset to reserve .... you never know ... just in case they get even broken ...
