Since I have a zoom lens Nikkor 55-300mm procured for my Nikon D40, I was looking for a camera bag that has room for the camera with mounted zoom. Then there should be a Toploader for quick access to the camera. The Pedea Essex met my expectations fully. Warning: there is a version with snap closure and one with zip. According homepage of Pedea the bags have the suffix "snap" and "zip" (zip = snap !!!). I wanted to have and with snap closure. The bag is very spacious. It turned out that even the Nikon kit lens 18-55mm still fits in your pocket. The quality impression is good. The outer material or the shell acts stable, so that the content is likely to be fairly well protected. Of course I did not make a tough test. The green stripe bag also looks good. Therefore: strong buy recommendation.
