Speaker is very good, HK-Controller App is an urgent need for improvement! / After update works really good app!

Despite the small dimensions of the Omni 10, of my feeling after more than an attractive and modern design features (no comparison to the angular solutions of direct competitors), it creates the speaker, pleasant to sound for my about 35 square meters large living room. I was surprised would have believed from the bass strength that one of the "little ones". Otherwise, the Omni 10 creates an excellent sound image, but it is fair to say that with a single speaker, no place can be built. As a solution to this you can connect to a speaker stereo pair the existing Omni 10 with another.

The build quality is high, the materials are beautifully bought and processed and fit attractively into the respective space.

Operation: To feed the speaker with music, are so far the following options:
- On the HK-Controller app (in my case installed on an iPad) can on the one hand on the Tablet
Songs stored to be accessed;
- Or it is accessed through the HK-Controller app on various music services (at the moment and Deezer
Mixradio)
- Bluetooth content can be streamed to the speaker by any other arbitrary App
- Finally has the Omni 10 is still a 3.5mm jack input

Here comes a weighty point of criticism: the operation of the HK-Controller app is, to put it mildly, an impertinence. I have the impression that here an unfinished product was thrown to the (App) market. I hope that will be rectified still strong. Since, I have a Deezer account, I have this course extensively tested. for example does not have the app on an equalizer, you can not seek within tracks, no shuffle possible. There is (for now) not possible to use the well-known features such as Deezer flow or radio. It is merely pointed out that this is possibly a later date. Also, the use of Deezer account within the controller app designed not nearly as intuitive as in the actual Deezer App. For me not discernible reasons it always comes back to play problems (A song is played, I will switch to song B and type B Song, but Song is played again .. A).

For this reason, I'm gone for the moment to (also Deezer) to stream all the music via Bluetooth, it works incredibly easy and in a very good quality. Since, I have not a very audiophile trained ear, I can not detect any differences in quality between WLAN and Bluetooth streaming.

Positives: - sound
- Level stability
- Optics
- Establishment's play
- Possibility for easy extension (supposedly the subwoofer be released)
- Relatively low price

Negative: - HK-Controller App (rework!)
- With a 10 Omni no spatial sound possible (I'm going for a second 10 Omni still indulge)

Update 04/02/2015: With today's update the HK Controller app all negative points have been eliminated. Thus appreciation to 5 stars!
