The sound is great. While I was at the other docking speakers often rumgestellt the tone controls in the mobile phone is here at once the sound well - which is very pleasant. Incidentally, it is considerably more effective to modify the set-up position to adjust the sound. The deeper and closer to the wall so bassy. It all sounds very clean, finely separated from each other tones, very pleasant. The Go + Play provides 30sqm to sound for it and if no other system is there, is also party. But for lack of pressure at the Bass (per 4,5 kg better than me, but not for party!). Also the level causing no earache, which here is amazing that you can turn on any music up to the maximum volume, and it sounds clean. Since the electronics cuts probably the destructive peaks, I find good and could have a positive effect on the durability.
The handle was the decisive argument for the Go + Play for me. The whole competition can be moved only with two hands, the Go + Play has safely in one hand. For this optimum adaptation to the mobility it is constructed but not consistently over. The power supply in the cable, like a notebook, a nuisance. Nor is there any remote possibility for the volume control, this is only possible with two buttons on the device, ie. in Bluetooth goes over the volume control on Abspielgertät what works well with my Xperia Z, but certainly annoys the aux input. I now always point to full volume and control via mobile phone.
Whether this version of the sound with batteries is also worse than in mains operation I have not yet tested. Even now I feel but against the grain 8 mono cells in two external chargers, one with 8 charging places I have not found to load and then every time clean-out of the Go + Play and rauszufummeln again. At least in standby that thing could still charge the batteries. See below!
Personally, I would also find a built-in FM radio is not bad, the handle ought to act as an antenna? Addendum Nov. 2014 Meanwhile, the radio reception via mobile phone is so good that I no longer so much miss the FM radio.
Ahead I have some test equipment belongs. So quite comparable that's not because the ambient noise in the relevant markets are still considerable.
JVC BoomBlaster because I once bought so in 2002 around the predecessor, still without a dock and was very happy with the sound. Today's version NB 90 seems to me compared with the former to be worse in the sound and to the Go + Play no chance. Even in the hi-fi market of relatively dirty sound was audible. Rather undifferentiated, both in the bass, and in the voices for super facilities and with the belt a little unwieldy.
Evil. I have heard all test Bose what was there. Really rock does nothing since. I do not know how listening habits and musical genres the vote, my, rather mainstreamige, it is not, anyway. Maybe this is also due to the environmental conditions in the markets or is for music lovers feingeistigere :-)
Bowers and Wilkins. The Zeppelin I can personally do anything from design, as well as revenge strong adaptation to Apple, since I have no fruit stuff also makes the prominent Dock no sense. What I found extremely good sound, are the two big cans individual speakers. Very handy, great sound but not fast times changed, because they are also wired together.
Ever in the stereo systems, there are certainly better sound and higher level, but at the expense of mobility.
Overall a specialist. The only Bluetooth Lausprecher with very good sound and taken quickly everywhere, unfortunately restrictions on power supply and the stupid battery compartment.
Supplement in November 2014
I then yet bought 8 mono batteries and a suitable charger and use the Go + Play only with these batteries. Unlike other reports, I can only say that the sound remains the same good! Perhaps some maximum level is lost, even then I'm not sure. The batteries last for several days, but also empty when not in use. The Go + Play was with the ski, has sonicated the coach during the trip and is repeatedly stepped in when the DJ had packed. Remains for me the best mobile device, I hope he remains available for a long time and I increase from 4 to 5 stars. Especially with today's prices.
