Nice finish for these discrete feet. The gray makes fine. Clamping is very effective-even difficult to loosen when it is served strong - The son 1.5mm pass without problem inside of the foot. I use the larger plate as support for my surround speakers are wooden Jamo Type "library". With the Velcro tabs glued on, nothing moves and the whole is stable. Obviously, it is preferable that these feet are along a wall as with children or dog, they will quickly switch even if the database is fairly stable. Very happy with this product that is one of the few consistent with my speaker type. Those cheaper do not have flat surface but only the screw system from the rear of the enclosure possible with very light and compact speakers.
