Although I am a fan of Jaci Burton and also in this series, I am a little disappointed by this volume 4 which (for me) while being greater in volume 3 (which left a little in every sense) is despite while not up to the first two volumes. The story had yet the same potential if it had a taste of "déjà vu" because indirectly we find almost the frame of Volume 2 in this volume 4: the career woman terrified at the idea of falling in love for traumatized by a difficult childhood, who falls for his client, who he is a playboy with all women at his feet, and falls in love for the first time in his life of a woman reluctant to the idea that their relationship becomes serious. So more or less the same story but against much less erotic. In the two is sex predominates and closer and Liz Gavin and it is also the foundation of their relationship (at least initially) but here it is much longer (long-TOO) to start and history between Savannah TOO much Cole turns in circles for almost all the book. Moreover, the author uses too many metaphors in the sensual passages suddenly erotic scenes are much less challenging than in the first 3 volumes. Sex is also much less present (always in comparison of the first three books) and the action really starts more than half of the book (for the erotic reading is a long time ...) The couple's relationship is not developed enough (enough on the professional level, but not enough on the personal and intimate level) and the end seems sloppy because it lacks a real conclusion and it leaves an unfinished feel. My favorite moment remains the chapter on marriage and Liz Gavin (although I am biased because it is my favorite couples since the beginning). What also pleased to find all the pairs of the first three books (Jenna Ty, Tara and Mick, Gavin and Liz) and monitor their couples. There is also humor especially in passages where it sets girls see is also nice to see the friendship between them and family ties in the Riley clan, who are also very present in this volume. We also meet Alicia (Cole's sister) who the next book (Volume 5) will be spent and what promises to be interesting. I recommend to lovers of style who want a fresh, light series with a touch of humor embellished with titillating scenes for playback without the fuss with an erotic escape guarantee.
