For product:
The hot shoe itself is made of metal and is manually adjustable by an adjusting screw. In the joint it is fitted with four Phillips screws.
The joint itself is made of hard ABS and makes a stable impression.
It engages in fine steps and is fixed by the locking screw.
The guide hole for the screen is slightly oval, with a metallic grinding nose and a locking screw.
The shoe mount on a tripod with 15 mm rod was mounted with me (the 1/4 inch thread disappeared in the hole provided).
The locking screw fixes the joint directly and firmly on the rod (thus emerged a little paint damage on the rod)
All connections / fixations could be tighten (normal duty - not brutal proof) and fixed the joint stable.
So if you are looking for a cheap shoe mount, I would advise to this here. The value for money is excellent!
One point I have withdrawn due to slight damage to the paintwork on the stand.
