Property me this carafe bought because I once had one, and through the thin glass this is broken.

Exactly the opposite is here. Very thick walls and solid.

1.8L fit in, weighs 3-4 kg accordingly good. :-)

I use it mainly in it with water and a few slices of lemon.

The only drawback: No cover! EVLT. in summer, few wasps could make it etc. in sweet drinks. When water but no problem.
And ...
Unfortunately does not fit into any refrigerator!

Otherwise unrestricted recommendation.
