William Herschel was the greatest observational astronomer of his time, perhaps of all time. Among other things, he discovered the planet Uranus and infrared radiation, and he constructed the first giant telescopes. It is reported that impressed by a visit to Herschel observatory Haydn decided to accept the creation in attack. Herschel was also one of the most important composers and conductors of his time in England. This CD with some of his symphonies shows that it can take (the not just happen WA Mozart or J. Haydn were called) it is indeed with all his contemporaries. The eye taken symphonies sound roughly like early Mozart symphonies with some beautiful solo passages and are very transparent and reproduced in good quality recording of the London Mozart Players. The reviewer is obviously delighted when astronomers that Herschel has finally devoted entirely to science, and when I go next time to observe, I accept this magnificent CD with the observatory and recommend the same and each other who are passionate about the starry sky or may simply want to enjoy a pleasant music.
