I bought the RasPi2 as effective Media Center. I use it together with OpenELEC (Kodi for Raspberry Pi) and attack through the network on my digitized DVDs, which can now spend their lives in the basement, through the network on my QNAP NAS. I thought as a low-cost solution for the bedroom will have been enough even if he does not so much power as NEN HTPC has, but the small has me totally by surprise and is really fixed, with low power consumption and 0 noise, also does my TV Fernbedinung (Samsung) on CEC also OpenELEC. So who wants to tinker NEN small Media Center gets the hard way cheaper.
Conclusion: Strong buy recommendation, now got it recommended by friends and everyone is enthusiastic. Clearly there is no hell machine but as MC more than adequate. This set is almost everything this board, housing PSU you only need still ne SD card.
