I run the transmitter / receiver on a Raspberry Pi (at 5V), each with 17.3 cm antenna (cable). The transmitter goes super, reached Outbuildings. The recipient fulfills the purpose of the codes of remote controls determine (stop right next to it is reliable). Even at 2-3 meters distance, it went sometimes. I would have liked to use the remote to control the Pi, but would need to at least 5 meters range. This works with the receiver (and the remote I - the bridge to their dedicated receiver quite 5 meters), unfortunately not - at least for me.
Overall price / performance but super.
