I've been using for years a HP 960c and am surprised by its long life and consistently good print quality. This is only true if you are working with the original cartridges! I have recently tried to upgrade to refilled / refilled cartridges, as they are often offered online. The result was frustrating! The ink is inferior, smeared and often holds far less long than expected. In addition, there would quickly be misprints (in spite of all cleaning and calibration). Surfaces are uneven and filled it streaks arise etc. Not infrequently fail such cartridges after a short time or can not be accepted by the printer (worn contacts). This does not include the recovery of cartridges in general, but especially for various manufacturers who recycle discarded cartridges and approximately 30 - 50% of the original selling price. Saves you money! In general, the original HP cartridges are of course overpriced terrific! But they offer safety and quality. A putative bargain can quickly turn out to be rip-off!
