When I first heard of the BR-1X Bluetooth Speaker, I was a bit skeptical, because after all Bluetooth consumes quite a lot of power and I could not imagine that would mainly of the speaker battery to last through. Finally, I am very pleasantly surprised.

What I love about a Bluetooth speaker is important:
- Long battery cable
- Easy connection to mobile
- Sound quality and volume
- Beautiful and practical design

First of the battery power: Because me the subject has very interested, I immediately after the package arrived at my, looked up the preset of Philips battery life in the operating instructions. Of course I wanted to check and got even at low volume a mere 11 hours instead of the prescribed 6 together. Really amazing!

Simple connection to the mobile phone: The BR-1X can be via Bluetooth easily control. It is also advantageous that the BR-1X with all Bluetooth can connect supportive phone types.

Although the unit is quite small (approx Height: 18.5 cm, width: 9cm, depth: 7cm), it's still pretty loud, which for example in a small open-air party may well be of advantage. The sound can be adjusted by pressing a button in two stages, indoor and outdoor. For indoor bass is enhanced in outdoor is the volume more in the foreground. The sound quality is very good at low songs, songs with high pitch but you can hear a slight rattle that person but not particularly bother me.

For the design I have to commend to Philips! The gray, handy case protects from bumps and color fits perfectly with the yellow speakers. In summary it can be said that the BR-1X pleasantly surprised me. The sound is for such a small device really good, although I would not swap him with my right stereo. The battery life can I find also noteworthy. Thumbs Up !!
