Content:

Jessamine lives a very secluded life with her father. Your life is determined by the country, especially from the plants. As a botanist daughter she shares the love for these creatures and even enjoys the self-reliant life. But the peace did not last long, because a boy named Weed is given into the custody of her father. Both are at once excited her father recognizes the unmistakable flair for plants in Weed and Jessamine the possible love of her life. Happiness wards off not long Jessamine is dying. Will Weed be their savior or a murderer?

Characters:

Jessamine is a well-behaved, virtuous girl. Curiosity and ambition motivate. She has a father complex, and do everything we can to please him, unfortunately, they will never meet him as a daughter. As Weed enters her life, she falls in love almost immediately. It maintains and päppelt him again, acts very mature and understanding. Then again emerges their naive side and it is quite the young girl who is in love for the first time.

Weed is through and through a oddball. He sees himself more as a plant and feel nothing for humans and animals. This changes the more time he spends with Jessamine. In retrospect, he loves them so much so that he is willing to die for them.

My Opinion:

"Poison Diaries 01 Love is incurable" by Maryrose Wood is an incredibly strange book. For me, the most curious of the year. After all, even a way to be memorable.

The writing style is very beautiful. Liquid, visually stunning and overflowing before metaphors. Involve all these metaphors, really all !, from Flora. Although I find it admirable how much you can get out get out of this topic.

The characters are not quite tangible. One learns not much of them, which could be because the plants take center stage. From which one learns this fact all the more! Anyway, you get to know the true fundamental character, but the depths are missing.

The story itself is simply weird. Ultimately, I was glad that it was so short, because 500 pages ham I would have probably not kept. Personally, I did it anyway not so with flowers, accordingly, I was interested in all these descriptions. Approximately 2/3 of the book is enjoyable to read, and you have a variety of speculation, as it could go - the idea in itself is not bad either. Unfortunately, the last third was just completely surreal. So completely I still do not understand the motives behind the whole theater and wish with all my heart that it would have been different. Because I want spoilers unwillingly, unfortunately I can not say much more to it, but I honestly do not know if I read the other volumes, let alone want to buy for.

Conclusion:

Mary Rose Woods Poison Diaries 01 Love is incurable is an exceptional and strange book that will meet not to everyone's taste. The language is literally flowery and generally slightly poetic. Flower lovers who come to terms with shallow characters and truly unimaginable scenes are perhaps able to inspire for the story, but a clear reading recommendation I can give unfortunately. 3/5 books.
