I think my title speaks for itself, right?! "The Rite of Spring", the work that triggered the biggest controversies of the early twentieth century, is admirably served by Pierre Boulez, one of the greatest chefs specializing in music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. I think this version of the "coronation" is in its own disco. As for "Petrushka" is very accurately Boulez Stravinsky makes us the text, which is far from clear, and that many others have failed to do!
