I got the mount today and was a bit disappointed. Although it sits firmly bomb on the window, but I ought to have read any more detail that you can move the part very limited. In the horizontal, it is unlimited mobile, but in the vertical you have to go at a slanted windscreen already on's maximum to get the Navi in a straight posture. In most cases one uses the navigation device in the center of the disc. In this case you have to move a little to the left because of the sunlight, the Navi. As far as no problem. Only by the oblique slice, the Navi then askew. With the original holder that was not a problem as we had a ball joint and could tilt the Navi in every imaginable direction. Here, however, not. A tilting on its axis is here not possible and therefore the holder is more suitable for trucks or vehicles with just windshield, not for most cars.
Summary:
Positives: + Sits bombs firmly against the window + No vibration or other Gewackel + Navihalterung (tail) can be replaced by another, which the holder with many models come clear
Negatives: - Navi can not rotate around its own axis and tilt, which reflections can not be compensated or the Navi is immediately wrong if you do not dull just aligns the bracket
Although in number to outweigh the positives, but the negatives here weighs much more difficult, because to me a Navi does not help when I can not see because of sunlight. Only with hearing you go as well, but in my eyes is not the intention and for me no alternative.
As the holder for most cars, or at least for my, thus unusable, I can unfortunately only awarded 2 stars.
