The Triad 60 Lite is stable and provides for the price very much. Almost everything is made of metal! Even the quick-release plate is mostly made of metal (the rest is cork). The fluid head is found at the beginning of a little stiff, but it allows much smoother pans and it can be adjusted very precisely. The closures and the handles of the locking screws are made of plastic but. However, this is no problem, the shutters make a very robust and there are two keys supplied to the tighter caps set. The quick release plate can be in the holder on the tripod head quite easily move, but it does not wobble and still gives the impression that it is secure. Considerably safer than on the plastic tripod that I had before. The weight is in my opinion the way for still okay. While it is good 700g heavier than my previous tripod, but it is also much more stable. As I take a little more weight gladly accept.
The one negative is me only a few minor, but very obvious blemishes. The plastic parts of the adjustment are frayed at the edges here and there, here you have it can obstruct a little high-quality manufactured parts. Since however the use and stability has no control and I can live at such an affordable Staiv with flaws I give it no deduction. I do not buy me a tripod for appearance.
On the whole, I can only recommend the tripod! For the price I've ever seen anything better. I want it even beginners warmly recommend rather the buy here than another cheap plastic tripod.
