So I met the great French writers from the premièrss teens. The Count of Monte Cristo is still the one I prefer for différetes facets of the personality of Edmond Dantes. It is complex, but still remains a man with his qualities and skills. Both aspects of his personality will turn respectively around the strengths of its success and indirect causes of his misfortune. This novel I've read in a week shows us man in what it should be, ie in the image of God: love, suffering, forgiveness, justice, fairness and above all recognition.
The three volumes of this great novel is a legacy that I cherish and that I dream to show my children one by which they will know what to expect from their neighbor.
