The following points were my personal requirements:
1. Good design (a bit reminiscent of Apple)
2. Fast i7 processor
3. DVD-ROM drive
4. Price / Performance
1. Processing:
For processing I can ever bring any complaints. Only the display could sit a little more stable but not bother me. The display cover and the keypad is made of aluminum, the lower part of a fiberglass. The display cover is very prone to greasy fingerprints.
2. Dimensions:
Dimensions are perfectly okay for this performance (graphics card). The notebook measures only 21mm.
3. Power:
When working you realize actually only the slow hard disk from time to time. Maybe I'll replace them once for a SSD. At the exchange, I must say that this works very simply because ASUS has this thought along. On the back of the notebook, there is a maintenance cover on the hard drive and the memory is easily accessible. (No longer common to all laptops ever in Ultrabooks.)
Otherwise, I have only briefly tested shortly after buying the game Grand Theft Auto IV and it ran at the highest graphics settings still liquid.
Otherwise the normal work the crashes or trailer come rather from the Windows 8 system.
4. The Design:
Since I was a long time thinking on me to make a MacBook, the design was for me then but also decisive. It should definitely not a notebook with glossy surfaces because I think that these laptops are riddled by a very short time already with fingerprints.
5. The price:
Price / performance ratio I found OK.
6. The display:
In the display you have to unfortunately cut back. Unfortunately, it is glossy display. That is not really suitable for sunlight and outdoor work. Furthermore, the display is not a full-HD display. These things, however, have not prevented me from buying because I either indoors or in the evening school and use laptops with full-HD resolution now times still have the notebook too expensive.
Positives:
- Processing
- Design
- Performance
- DVD drive
Negatives:
- Display
- Loud HDD (hard disk can be heard very loudly in a quiet room)
