Now, less than 1 year after the debut and the subsequent European tour with Turisas (where I was able to convince the same from the first-class live Quilitäten the troupe from Chicago) now comes the sequel "Virus of the Mind". Alone the album cover shows dasss something has changed. The melodies come much darker therefore, what one notices especially in "Breaking The Madness". (By the way, in my opinion the best song of the band to this day!). This songs are generally held fun-. Star Kill show up sometimes ruhigher and melodic like "Virus of the Mind". In addition, leaves frontman J. Parker also feed Clean vocals with, like "Before Hope Fades" which is a pleasant contrast to his Grwoling. What has not changed, thank goodness !, the decency held Orchestra deposits, which are still only accompany and never prevail. Dominating the sound is still of the guitars and the sound better than ever!
In general, "Virus of the Mind" is a sher gloomy, but very strong and Varied album that I recommend everyone the thing for melodic metal has. Even where the "Fires Of Life" rather critically faced, I would advise this album to take a chance, it's worth it!
