I've learned from past experience that if you opt for the cheapest device that you will rarely be satisfied. Another reason why I have decided for the MV6, but I would have a bit more to spend.
The MV6 P Premium multipurpose sucker is, according to the Kärcher website the most versatile multipurpose sucker from the Kärcher home series in the MV series. Pricewise I found it more than acceptable, so I did not spend more. And since I actually (window sucker, high pressure washers, steam cleaners / ironing station) was otherwise very happy with my previous Kärcher devices, I decided this time also for a device of Kärcher. I opted for the MV6, allegedly the suction power of 2000 watts suction (as packaging / product information: compared with Kärcher multipurpose vacuum cleaners of 2013) has, but consumes only 1300 Watt power. And then I still thought the MV6 to safely not go wrong for the price. But I was disappointed the first time in my decision to buy Kärcher.
The device sucks, but the suction does not correspond really determined a 1800 watt vacuum cleaner. It shows especially when the floor nozzle is used. Wanted to suck a room whose floor dust (from the use of a chaser and demolition hammer in concrete) was covered with a very thin layer. It looks like the dust is whirled up, but you have already repeatedly driving over it. Everything you do not get away with the MS6. For the 20sqm room I have sucked nearly an hour, and it's still not all gone. With a real 1800 watt vacuum cleaner, I would certainly have done it in half the time.
The filter cleaning function is according to instruction to use only if you have the vacuum bag away. You can also leave the bags in it, but it could be damaged when operating the filter cleaning. I thought that was a bit strange.
When sucking itself escapes no visible dust. Pressing the filter cleaning, you can see how something escapes from the dust port for blowing function. From a Kärcher Qualtitätsprodukt (even if it is a device from the home series, not intended for commercial use) must be such a thing really did not expect.
When vacuuming the crevice tool, the suction power is neat, which is due to yes letztentlich the taper on the nozzle, less the device itself. For statements of the cars MV6 therefore should be quite usable.
The bristles on the floor nozzle are unfortunately rigid and can not be retracted. There is a switch, which allows you to extend the deduction lips, if you want to soak up liquids. With us in the basement is still an old Kärcher wet / dry vacuum cleaner from 1985, which has a floor tool in which you can remove the bristles / lips completely ... (I use actually only to the filter from the heat pump dryer suck).
All in all I would have expected from the sucker more. He might look high, but unfortunately too many deficits, which is why I probably would not have a friend suckers from the MV Series, when the MV6 already could not meet my expectations.
And this marketing ploy with the suction I take the company Kärcher feel sick. They have something not really necessary ... I'll probably have to inform somewhat better in future purchase decisions before I will again buy a Kärcher device.
