Suitable for charging due

I bought 2 cable for my S3. Impression is neat, but could be better (sharp casting nose on the plug). Cable acts flexible (thin?) As the original cable. Fit and data connection appear to be in order.

But to load the cable appears to be only partially suitable. I use my S3 as Navi and will not require the battery. Have read that this is sometimes difficult because of the high Stromvverbrauchs and I've also specially an appropriate adapter Wicked Chili Cars DUAL smartphone, tablet, mobile phone and Navi Quick Charger Adapter for Samsung, Huawei, Sony, Nokia, Blackberry, HTC, LG, Motorola , TomTom, Falk, Becker, Navigon (V2.0 / 12 / 24V, 2.100mAh, 2x USB) to buy that would take the power. Charge in AC mode is also recognized by the phone, but the battery still goes down when navigating.

If I instead take the original Samsung cable, it works well with the store when navigating. I guess that there is the flexibility of the cable from thinner conductors.
