For those who own a MacBook Pro and wonder if this device works well so I can answer this positively.

According to the manufacturer it is supported by Mac OS 10.4.6 and higher, and the computer recognizes the drive with no problems and as usual without any installation. The included software is only for Windows, but since it is so apparently is only a demo version of Nero I lack nothing in this regard.

I have with my older Mac (2008) hanging the device from a single USB port and the burner works on battery power properly. It may be that it burns a little faster with an attached power cord.

It's not as loud as I feared by the other reviews, but small and light and the lens is in the drawer, ie with an open load can also clean these times.

For this price, I find the unit fully in order.
