I ordered this cable to downloading images with my P1000 Galaxy Tab from the digital camera. Before I switched the system on ICS 4.0.4 (CyanogenMod), so I can use the USB host adapter functionality. Unfortunately, the P1000 does not provide 5V on the port, so I had to cheat a little. This Y cable, a gender changer for USB, the normal connecting cable of the Galaxy Tab and the power supply it works then. Finally, I can transfer photos from my Digi on the tablet, without having to have a computer.
