The Stanfuß measuring 5 x 5 x 5 cm. The distance on the bar between the two brackets about 11 cm.
The whole holder is made of metal, the foot of cast iron. Directly after purchase no rust are present, which for some products in this price range already exists. The joints can be personalized with a small screw, the two metal plates, between which there are two ball joints contracts, which fix. For heavier workpieces you have to pull very tight these screws. However, beyond a certain weight the holder to enter inevitably, for example, when an average weight dreistufigigen crossover (about 500 grams).
##### Features #####
There is an average double joint, consisting of two ball joints as described above, which holds a rod with three further double hinges for the two brackets and from the stand magnifying glass.
The brackets that hold the actual workpiece see out similar to that of alligator clips. An optional rubber surface on the holder would have been wünschenstwert to prevent damage from scratches while slipping on the workpiece.
The stand is easy for my needs, I have therefore complained it additionally. The magnifying glass can be used, which was not previously the case only for very small workpieces, where the focus between the two brackets is.
##### Conclusion #####
Altogether, there are nothing to complain about, except that the base is a little too easy and constant velocity joints themselves into the easily deformed by mechanical interference.

+ For smaller workpieces good (RAM, remote control board)

Not rubberized clamps -
- Clips open too easily
o for larger workpieces (graphics card, power supply board) only partially suitable
o for heavy workpieces unsuitable (crossover), but not provided
I can not take points for heavy and large workpieces because it certainly is not the intended use. The only deduction is because the brackets are not gummed and allow the brackets to be opened easily. For smaller boards, there is a strong buy recommendation.
