Advantages:
+ The camera can be connected directly to a projector via VGA interface. It therefore does not need more PC! Especially in the classroom saves valuable time.
+ The device is also possible via the PC.
+ The quality of the camera is suitable for texts. Certainly there will be even better models. But you can move the camera as close to the document that you can read the signs well.
+ In addition to the camera is a lamp integrated to illuminate the document appropriately. With "+" and "-" buttons you can meter the brightness well and illuminate the document appropriately.
+ The camera automatically focuses. Changes to the document, so you have a very short time again a sharp image.
+ The condition is slim and clearly.
+ The base wobbles not (heavily).
+ Documents can be put directly under it. Thus, the making of a film is unnecessary.
Disadvantages:
- For texts you have to move the camera relatively close to the document to set the font to (very) good read. Especially in the classroom that's important. However, this has the consequence that you can see even a small excerpt and you have to move the document often.
- If the room is dark, and the lamp very bright, then there is in some cases a "flickering" of the image. That comes before but only now and then.
- When fast movements (show an experiment in physics), the delay is a bit unpleasant. But I no longer use the camera now.
CONCLUSION:
I have the camera for half a year in the classroom in use (math / physics) and no longer want to miss it! The device is connected quickly and usable without PC. Thus, there is hardly any technical problems. For showing homework, improvements, pictures, graphics etc. and the camera is super usable. The quality of images is good; however, certainly still some room for improvement.
All in all, fits the price-performance ratio here. For 150 euros you get a solid device that is well used. From me there is therefore a strong buy recommendation!
