The SC-NE5 can music of our Nokia Lumia 900 (Windows Phone 7.8) and the Lumia 820 (Windows Phone 8) reproduce via DLNA. There is the app External playing Nokia. An app from Panasonic, I have not found in the store (it's half a point deduction).
Both smartphones can easily connect via Bluetooth and with the speaker. Then eg Nokia Music or Internet Radio can transfer the music to the speaker.
In addition to smartphones, we do not have a Windows 8 tablet, laptop and household computers. All Windows 8 machines can reproduce via DLNA innately musical. But there's the function Play To ". The tablet and the laptop have Bluetooth. The coupling proceeded without problems.
Does not unfortunately goes: The speaker can not directly access the network drive, although this includes a Media Server. So always have to send the music a smartphone or computer. For this, I give half a point deduction.
The establishment of the speaker thanks to WPS was easy. The included instructions may be in some places a little more detail.
The remote control I do not ergonomic. In addition, some settings can be active only on the remote control. Since the SC-NE5 has a built in web server, I would have preferred to make the remote control functions available on the device website.
To the sound I can not make any statements because my ears are not sensitive. Personally, I find the sound of voices, however. Also at the dock and the CD player, I can not comment because I do not have it connected.
