I have a bitchy digital scale which is powered by 4 AAA batteries and I use about 30 minutes every day. The balance is very sensitive to voltage drop, even high-quality alkaline batteries will last a maximum of 3-4 weeks. To calm my green conscience, I wanted to switch to battery a few months ago. One by one I bought 900-1000 mAh NiMh batteries of 2 discounters and the winner of the Stiftung Warentest. Result: after 1 to a maximum of 3 days, the batteries were always flat! Totally frustrated, I had already changed back to disposable batteries, when I accidentally discovered the Eneloop here at Amazon and the very positive reviews read. As a last attempt I bought an eco-8-pack that I use for a month. Result: Operating time to change the batteries 6-7 days, so 3x better than the "Test Winner"! Also very convenient, the battery box, which charged batteries have a decent place to sleep and no longer fly through the air. Congratulations to Sanyo, an absolutely first-class product!
