This novel contains everything has to be in it for my taste in a spy thriller: - A somewhat confusing prologue, but the results always has more sense the more you read - A coherent and detailed description of the protagonist and other important characters - A timelessly actual topic and their understandable legible treatment - A reasonable proportion of Action - And beyond a very interesting insight into the secret services of different countries - And an interesting overview of the political and military involvement in Europe and the Middle East in the 1960s. The work is consistently simple written understandable and very exciting. All in all one of the best spy thriller I've ever read.
