I have this chair now uses approximately 6 months from 3 March to the end of September, then after two months holiday (In the time chair had no stress) came the fiasco. I sat down and after half an hour I tipped at once left off.
The cast iron of the tilt mechanism is broken.
The Suggested "seating capacity" of 8 hours a day, which took place in the effective use of 6 months, I've never had crossed just like the maximum load capacity.
I am a serious and great guy and really wanted to have received only a back-friendly and stable swivel chair at a fair price, I thought here, but now very disappointed that this after 6 months seat capacity is just about ripped.
My executive chair I had previously, so a 50 thing from a "I nehms times with sounds cheap" furniture store, was not designed for my "last", but has bravely "fighting" almost all the three years and then only lost because a plastic armrest (was a supporting member) is broken ...
Absolute disappointment. Here, the comfort was excellent.
I hope still to a manufacturing defect but maybe we will see ...
Saturday night ordered, Mondays at 9 clock delivered early, first class!
Was a pretty big package in L-shape, weighing about 25 kilograms. If you have one probably you up with the package a staircase then worried. Help a roommate in the size and bulkiness can be the package less than optimal wear, but only as a secondary matter :)
After unpacking the construction went relatively quickly from equip as you have to screw a total of only 8 bolts with the appropriate hex key.
Tip: An Allen key with longer handle saves time and a little bit nervous when attaching the mechanism under the seat if you should have a chance.
After an estimated 30 minutes, the chair stood there already sitting ready.
Before I go into the first seat impressions, here an information about me: I'm 1.93 tall and weigh about 140kg.
He seems very stable and it is my opinion also (if he will be there showing the time, but I am confident).
The seat is wide enough and quite firm, but what it must be when one buys an executive chair, which is designed to 150kg weight. Who wants to sit soft, should romp in this price range in the models for the not quite as heavy bone.
The backrest is very pleasant and the lumbar support do good in it. However, if I'm sitting, I can not lean on my head because it above the shoulder ends (estimated 5-8cm), but not a negative point for me as I had no executive chair in the last 13 years where I could lean my head a bit and me there does not interfere.
What I particularly like the tilt mechanism. Not only that can adjust to the half of the seesawing the chair firmly (the chair a little game allows this setting), no, that really good news is that if you look right into it rejects, the executive chair does not threaten to tilt, despite my size and weight. I've already make a right purely hanged in order to find the limit, but I tend to feel that the chair before breaks at the tilt mechanism as he would fall over, which is why I'd rather not risk too much. NOT NEGATIVE understand there is a really positive aspect, you can spend reinlegen relaxed without a risk to have to have the floor to bless same with the mind. May sound old-fashioned, but I had been given so far in this regard, rather worse experience so I specially mention here.
Used the chair with me on a thin carpet. He rolls as it indeed very good, but I recommend buying a floor mat, if you do not have firm ground (laminate, tiles etc.). On the carpet, the hard floor casters fast hair and increasingly collecting dust a thing someday perhaps can lead to a problem that the wheels are always harder in progress, which may block or at worst, break even due to the additional burden. A cleaning of the rolls is fairly expensive.
However, one point of criticism I have, but which is highly subjective: The armrests
They are virtually only marginally existent for me. If I'm sitting I get my elbow even with effort not to the armrest down, just my wrists can be supported a little.
When I sit a little deeper I come with my elbows while ran to the back, but also here only with effort. They are actually more for my safety because, if I do not fall down once more on the left or right side and sitting.
Unfortunately, a great pity that Lean had quiet good 5cm may be higher, then it would be optimal.
So who is slightly larger (as I said, I'm 1.93 tall) and armrests can not do without, I advise against this executive chair. Will yet keep him and maybe upholstered with Velcro around bind to circumvent the problem.
There is one point less.
To smell the a Rezendant remarked: Yes, an odor is present, the unmistakable smell like just any furniture store. Almost every new Möbilat has such an odor that is but warp over time.
I would have been more concerned, my boss would not chair can demonstrate this characteristic odor after unpacking: D
Conclusion:
By and by a very good executive chair, appears very stable on first impression. Great for the arms but a sample seats if you get the chance!
For people under 1.90m height which is perhaps the chief armchair general.
Price Technically definitely unbeatable in the maximum load of 150kg segment!
