We have to cut back by about one third, since we have very small dogs. However, I have not the necklace simply cut, but the first "light cable" carefully pushed together inside with a stick. So I have yet all the lights in the collar and had to sacrifice no lights by conventional cutting. After that I just cut the hose. The collars now light up even more because more lights are distributed over a smaller collar. :-) The collars have shone 5 nights for about 1 hour, then it became weaker and I have charged on the laptop. That was super fast, barely 20 minutes, then they were full. Based on a light can be seen when it is charged.
We are very, very satisfied and our dogs can be seen very well and because of different colors you can also see which dog as degrees going astray is and must be called. The visibility is also very good with short hair and curly poodle fur.
