Super Game! 10

Structure:
The playmaking is as with Mario Kart Wii. The Online mode works pretty well so far (had to date only a connection abort) and the driving experience, especially the drift, is just terrific. Unfortunately, as has been said often, there is the battle mode (with three balloons) no longer own routes - a pity!

Local Multiplayer:
Nothing here, except that the interface now extends vertically in the image. This means Player 1 plays on the left side and player 2 on the right side. With more players will be additionally cut horizontally. Of course, the drive in local multiplayer nothing as comfortable and maybe it would have been useful, that you can decide for yourself whether you want to have more width or height in Split. We (me and my girlfriend) but came fairly quickly handle it.

Control:
All options! WiiU GamePad (movement or stick), WiiMote (movement), WiiMote + Nunchuk (Stick), WiiMote + Classic Controller (Stick), or my favored Procon Troller. PS: There go the old Wiimotes without MotionPlus and also the old Classic Controller Wii works. No restrictions as far and so "thank you" to Nintendo.

Selection:
First of all I confirm that the selection of the characters or figures would have slightly different make more sense, but on the whole I am very satisfied. When the vehicle parts I'm just excited .. clearly there are many things that are merely visually distinguished, but also many variations where you can screw in connection with his character enormously on driving behavior. Depending on your taste and skill, so top speed, acceleration, handling and liability is set - perfect!

Graphics:
Thanks to the WiiU one has finally arrived as a Nintendo player in the world of HD. The graph of MarioKart8 is very good, but what I can hardly admire when I concentrate on the race. Nevertheless, of course, the super resolution my character and my colleagues I find it good to while driving. This not only protects the eyes, sondenr even more fun. Properly awesome but it is only when I watch games such as my partner at .. wow!

Future:
I am an absolute opponent of the so-called in-game purchases / DLC / .. Anyway. I want to buy a full-price title and then play freely and if necessary can also sell. Here at MarioKart8 there now to buy additional paid content, but with one big difference: This content is truly additional and crops the main game is not (negative example: Sims). Therefore I find the option even very good and have already the bundle of two upcoming addons bought. For 12 euros, I therefore get 6 new characters (+ bundle bonuses), new vehicles & parts and especially 16 (!) New routes. And yes I admit it .. I hope later on even more extra content :-)

Criticism:
As already mentioned above, I personally find the worst that no arenas are in battle mode. Otherwise, I would have still found nice if you also "all items except Stachi tank" could adjust in line with the options and Versusrennnen the item selection. One last gripe was (!) The missing card to the TV monitor. Since the update can be activated (+ button on the WiiU gamepads (with other controllers, it does not seem to go)) but this is and therefore fixed.

Conclusion:
Mario Kart 8 is a terrific game that is an absolute must-have for every WiiU owners in my opinion, unless of course you do not like racing games from scratch. In my opinion, the game deserves a good 4.5 star rating, which I like to aufrunde through the Amazon system 5.
