Even in completely dark room the entire screen of my Kindles is lit - WITHOUT glare or corner as stronger lighting. Even at normal Lichtstaerke in space, the lamp is suitable as a reading lamp to make reading a bit easier on the eyes. Speziel the ease of lamp I find important as the Kindle and my Protective heavy enough. The duration of the batery I can not give information.
