- Activating the alarm function can be manually re-adjust the alarm time. Very handy if you do not always get up at the same time and then can change the time without shimmy through a menu.
- Very good radio reception
- Feel and look are very nice managed
- The sleep function is convincing. It is really convenient: I go into the bedroom, press the button, the light goes on, I can undress, lie down in bed, cover, dumb look twice and then comes the dawn and it is easy to fall asleep. Really great.
- To be awakened with light & sound is awesome. Once you've found the right brightness and volume, you glide really gentle of the night into day. Instead of totally annoyed and ko to lie in bed and banging on the snooze button, makes it his eyes, looks around and hears a little birds twittering about.
Nevertheless, a few things I do not like what there are two star deduction:
- There is no sensible "Off" function. If you press the alarm button, the alarm will turn off, but the light stays on. It may be convenient because you still can raise the curtains alone, etc. But should then stop off automatically after one minute. But it does not. Instead, one must press the light button once again.
- My alarm is not de-noised, which is a real little nerve-deficiency. Apparently real birds were recorded in the forest and the background noise is not filtered. Now I have not only sweet little birds hanging lanterns in the bedroom but also provide noise as background. Irritating
- The slumber function does not work, or I'm too stupid for that. But is not so bad, because it will, as stated not awakened with the mallet
- One could treat the thing a few more wake-up sounds.
- The advertising promises "Can be used as a bedside lamp" is bogus. Once already due to design, because the lamp is simply a bright hemisphere which appears first, and secondly, raises a very diffuse light. Definitely not a nice bedside lamp light. Second, the alarm function is not to be used correctly if the clock is right next to the bed. It is namely with his face in the other direction, one does not see the light until much too late, so no alarm. If, however, is facing the lamp, it seems a much too early and bright eyes. The right kind is, at least in my opinion, the alarm clock to place somewhere in the room, so that the clock can still see, but the light then illuminates the room and simulates the sunrise realistic.
- There is no escalation or some kind of last resort. If one is light and sound as quiet and dark that you wake up slowly and gently, then it can happen that you just keep sleeping. Stupid if you have the appointment at ten and goes until two to bed. I would hope that at alarm time the alarm comes acht clock and after 10 minutes then a little more distinctive alarm. Frighten rather than sleepy.
Overall, still a buy recommendation, at least as long as the competition creates a better product. Wake This type is definitely superior to a normal alarm clock.
