I have for a long time with various grill tongs "rumgeärgert" and was actually too stingy even to buy a pair of pliers. Now I have to say, however, that the "investment" has paid off. In another discounters (which is divided into north and south) I had bought a whole set for 2/3 of the price of these pliers. But I've also been annoyed enough about the pliers from the set, because it's just too big and clunky. Often, the food to be grilled me is thus slipped from the chuck (the small Nuremberg sausages especially for the children, then the whining was great).
I can not say now of these tongs here. From the moment my pliers really liked and I can make everything good grip. I especially enjoyed me the "shutter mechanism" which can be solved easily and single-handedly by I hit the end of the forceps a little against my stomach. Even the pliers are ready for use again, if I had it locked beforehand and hung. That's real jerk twitch and I'm thrilled. Now make grilling more fun :-)
