Tried some, but many were disappointing. Even the highly acclaimed Bose SoundLink Mini could not convince. The Bose holds a mere 3 hours is pretty heavy for their size, is not insensitive to shocks (ie this aluminum housing will look like soon no longer beautiful), and the sound is very much a function of angle.
The very long period of 7-12 hours are very good at Philips.
The sound is full in order for the size, the Bose can not keep up when it comes to bass because it has an exaggerated bass that is turned down quickly at higher volumes. Even in the pool sounds I can still remain in the indoor mode with the Philips ... only when all play volleyball, then I switch to outdoor and all have music!
