My experience of the year and a half:
I had fixed both in a metal door frame and in a wooden frame. For both materials, the hard rubber surfaces that provide the necessary support at Einspreizen in the doorway, were very well suited. After assembly, the rod held each bombproof.
Through the good maintenance of the rubber surfaces such large spreading apart was never necessary during installation that the door frames would have suffered. Damage I could never find on the doorframe after dismounting.
The handle of the rod is not particularly soft for my taste but has exactly the right characteristics: access good grip and most comfortable. For those who prefer a very soft touch, which should stay away from this rod.
After a while disappeared by abrasion of the manufacturer on the handle, the logo, which I however could never consciously notice any residue on my hands. The logo is now quite some time away, but that does not bother me in the least. :)
The black marks that are left by the rod respectively after removing the door frame lighter rubber marks, which is completely normal. The removal of these spots always went without major problems and even was naked fingers possible, as can be seen in the short video at top left.
Conclusion:
- Good hold in metal and wood frame
- No damage to the frame, provided with mounting emotion and intellect proceeds
- Good grip
- Manufacturer's logo will disappear through attrition
- After dismounting black marks on the frame, which are however very easy to remove.
- Good price
-> Excellent price / performance ratio
-> Strong buy recommendation
