super price / performance, super plate

This Verbatim plate reducer for me as a computer scientist in the best external 2.5 "drive that I previously held in fingers. For the price you get although disks with more capacity, but these are usually neither USB 3.0 capable, and often from housing quality.

The plate is, as usual, formatted FAT32. The housing is made of plastic, but feels valuable and stable. In operation, the plate can not be heard, or felt through vibrations. 5400 U / min the plate is quickly on the way and was recognized by each OS (XP, Win7, Linux) used by me without any problems. Also lets Verbatim, unlike eg WD, simple formatting of the disk, even in the NTFS format (important for large files)

All in all a super hard drive for a annhmbaren price. My advice: Stay away from the cheaper external drives with more capacity. Quality rather than quantity.
