During installation, there was, however, some problems that have nothing to do primarily with the printer. The operation at a Vodafone EasyBox 903 is a bit difficult for Mac users because the printer over the WLAN is recognized neither as AirPrint printer, yet can be addressed by Mac OS X. Unfortunately I could not find out where the error was, but after I connected my ancient Fritz Box 3030 (as a WIFI Access Point via LAN) to the EasyBox and the WIFI Management'll take from this, everything went fine:
- AirPrint works
- Print from Mac works and the printer even wakes up from standby on
- Scan to Mac works also without problems
(- Faxes worked previously with connection directly EasyBox)
Under Windows it works well with the EasyBox. I suppose that there were any problems with the Bonjour service. The Fritz! Box also here seems to have been their current competition years ago ahead of a lot!
