This is about the Philips shaver PowerTouch PT739 / 18th centuries.
Which shaving system (razors, Braun or Philips shaving head) one decides ultimately, can by many to even personal factors. I have at least several times already tried all the systems in different variations and therefore think that I have a good comparison.
For me, a very important point is the skin tolerance, because I myself have unfortunately a very sensitive and fragile skin, which is why this is a very crucial and important point for me.
Which also fair to be written to the fact that the skin needs a few weeks to get used to the respective shaving, so you should definitely give the razor more than just an opportunity to check the skin compatibility.
What's also falls into this point for me, of course, how thoroughly the shaving system is to avoid unnecessarily and repeatedly having to go over the same spot, which also just annoying and unnecessary time costs. The Philips shaving head with his cutting system adapts perfectly to the contours of the skin and thereby stem a close shave, even on the first drive over it. Sounds Although as advertised, but is actually so :-)
Since I now and then sometimes for several days not shave, either out of laziness on holiday or aesthetic reasons (three-day beard ...), is for me, of course, important how well the razor hereby comes clear. And here I can say very clearly that the Philips shaver with its shaving heads also here has no problems and it creates clean and come bremser without through the thick beard, mind you, I'm talking about millimeters and no 3-month beard in the centimeter range; -)
In other razors I have ever made very bad and unpleasant experiences, the way to stop the shaver.
In these previously mentioned and important points reflected for my needs the Philips system and said here shaver best.
Ultimately, I am therefore ended up with Philips for several years and have not looked back.
A positive feature is having on in the price range and the razor that here an optional charging cradle is included, which is not a foregone conclusion. First, this charger makes quite pretty in the bathroom and on the other hand it simplifies the charging process in which I simply put the shaver like an electric toothbrush only in the charging cradle and this invites.
But the charger is as it is written only optional, because you can simply charge the shaver directly with the accompanying charging cable and therefore does not need to carry around the charger when traveling.
Furthermore, the shaver is fully washable under water, well this one does not find too often in this price segment.
For me it is also more hygienic aspect, because the simple brush can not be removed all stubble, which is why it can not hurt to keep the razor every couple of weeks even under running water.
The shaver is also a high quality finish, is due to its fit to the hand very well in the hand and does not slip thanks to its rubber coating from the hand. ,
Furthermore, included as an accessory to clean up a protection for the shaving head and a small brush.
Also, the shaver has a built-fold and trimmer, but I do not use, so I did not address this issue as well.
What I also liked a lot, is the multi-color LED, which is also new to me. If the razor only has a maximum of 5 or fewer shaving minutes flashes of orange when the razor is fully charged, the indicator light is solid green, when loading the charging indicator flashes green.
Also shows the razor with a separate orange light on when the shaving heads have to be replaced, this is the way only every 2 years the case, indicating longevity of the shaving head.
The negative point about the battery life I can not quite understand 45 minutes is at a maximum and quite overestimated shaving time 5 minutes after all 9 days. And within 9 days each should find an outlet somewhere. The fast charge if it is too late to even invite, incidentally takes just 3 minutes for 5 minutes shaving time.
Last but not least is the best result of price and performance for me and my claims to the shaver. The quality and the accessories have convinced me and who once a Philips shaver appreciate, this is not likely to give again so quickly out of hand.
