For about 21 I was able to purchase the strip with music control and am very happy with the product. I have attached him in the living room in the corner and the strip has an insanely good light output. The colors are rich and deep. Not too bright or too dark. Just right up. :)
The music control is also very good, I was expecting a relatively weak performance to the effect as you can not expect so much for the price, but it responds to bass very well and also louder voices. If the music drowns out the voices or the controller on the subwoofer is expected votes is played while music the LED strip does not affect.
The tape is now, of course, not so strong, but as long as you it does not stick overhead should keep you well. At least on my pedal board there is no problem.
I would recommend this product very much and buy directly or 2 strips.
