The backup is easy to install and above all at any point. For this I chose a hidden, yet easily accessible location. So I can when not in use the can and longer service life of the moped simply drag the backup and did so the additional switch or the more elaborate mounting on ignition or light saved me (I was the backup forgotten times and be completely sucked empty the battery, I had thanks the kickstarter on my moped but also not a big problem :-)
The charging current is 1000mA perfectly adequate. The current consumption in sleep mode is specified by the manufacturer with 3mA. This means that the can permanently draw 0,036 watts and the battery capacity - roughly - would leave in just under 14 days to drop to 1Ah. Shorter periods of a few hours or even 1 or 2 days so make no problem But beware. 1 hour loading a machine at standstill of the motorcycle also means 1Ah capacity loss of the battery!
Conclusion: Simple and also to assemble without additional switches, fuse positioned at any point, small, inconspicuous, waterproof, good value for money, power consumption in the idle state must be considered.
