Most:
- Finishing tape has the eye once in front of the screen: it's beautiful, it's square, it's simple, it's class!
- Image quality excellent once the settings recommended by DigitalVersus made (the picture is too hot for my taste with the basic settings). The Motionflow 100htz brings an obvious comfort for sports programs, once tried it's hard to do without.
- Tuner tnt powerful: can not connect to an external antenna, it is connected to a simple indoor antenna does not even amplifying the signal. For comparison, in analog I had to constantly move this antenna to digital is impeccable.
- The matte screen contains many reflections, my TV is positioned facing a skylight, I'm not embarrassed.
- The SD upscaling is very good for my taste, the Freeview SD are very nice to look at (I'm MAX 2 meters from my TV.)
- Menus comprehensive but easy to access, almost everything is configurable
- Very fast installation, 5minutes to mount the wrong foot by being smart, 5 minutes to search the channels / programs, and you are ready to enjoy this beautiful display.
Cons:
- Its so so, I think the problem is, as said before, positioning the speakers, pointing downwards. When I sit in front of the screen, the sound is okay, but as long as I am therefore standing above the screen, it clearly lacks power.
- Incomplete Multimedia Player: what I tested yet: does not support Xvid (either SD or HD) or the format is still used very often, support for MPEG4 therefore against the extensions x264, H264 etc ...
- Finish the back of the disappointing display in comparison to the front: when pressed SCART, we feel that we will pass through the hull.
In conclusion, many more than + -, this screen is excellent! I could not care less of the orientation of the speakers I use headphones.
I would have put it 5 stars if the media player had been better: when you see the players on PC lightweight and supports virtually all the codecs that do is to ask if Sony does not express its drive to curb .
Or finally, the channel change is actually slow compared to CRT screens, but in the middle of what is done in lcd screens, nothing dramatic.
And for those concerned about the "slabs of waltz", it would be about 10% just this model. Personally I am to my relief fell on the PVA (the best).
