- Sennheiser MM 550-X TRAVEL (sound very good, but not detailed enough for me, uncomfortable seating)
- Sony MDR-1RBT (sound good but slightly overdriven, seat good)
- Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Wireless (overdriven sound and too base heavy "in sound not really" good seat)
The AKG K845BT had by far the best resolved most sound and the over all volume levels, very detailed and consistent. I tested the headset with songs from the classic, film music, house, jazz and rock field (Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, Start Trek, Forest Gump, Lexy & K-Paul; Evanescence; Metallica and do not forget to try the best to Marla Glen) So Querbeet and AKG's were able to assert themselves in any genre. However, it must be ensured that no inferior sound source is used, since the AKG's not forgive this and cover any gap in quality. The sound is very good and comparable to ELAC scarf converters who loves these clear and perfect sound is repealed with the AKG well. Often the bass will be criticized, this I can not confirm because if the AKG is fed with the right (Looseless, FLAC) material is the bass perfectly balanced, powerful and above all very clear and precise.
The seat is by the big round Over-Ear's very fitting and comfortable, even barely noticeable hear the low weight for long.
The connection to the headset using Bluetooth is simple and very good, especially the headphones can also be additionally connected to the cable.
The headphones do not have active noise canceling, but this they resemble by the good fit and excellent passive attenuation of.
As a shortcoming I could only perform it with no carrying case for the headset as I travel a lot.
All sound characteristics are of course subjective, because each person has own preferences. From my perspective and my preferences, which are focused on clear and undistorted sound, the AKG by far in this price range the best headphones and even the most comfortable.
