The sound quality is super good and makes a huge difference to the internal laptop microphone and it also offers a much better sound quality than the microphone interen my webcam Loigitech C920.
With the small switch on the side you can either select the recording in cardioid, or round. In addition, you can even turn on and off the gain, but I did not use because it's so loud enough.
For the price an absolute buy recommendation!
